Look to the Word

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 15TH JANUARY.

LOOK TO THE WORD.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5).

There’re people who choose not to be happy because of certain experiences they’ve had. And interestingly, they try to make other people victims of their disgruntled state, or blame others for their misfortune. But life isn’t that way. No one has the responsibility to make you happy. You’re the one to choose to be happy, and enjoy your life, no matter what.

The Bible says count it all joy when you go through diverse tests (James 1:2). You have to learn to depend on, and use, the Word. The Word of God provides solution to every problem. Trust the Word. When you have questions in your mind, when you face difficulties, it’s the Word you need.

When some people face dire situations, they sit somewhere, feeling sorry for themselves and worrying. That doesn’t help. When you find yourself in an unpleasant situation, look to the Word; search the Scriptures for answers. What God wants is for the Word to be in your spirit, and produce in you the victory mentality. No wonder He says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom...” (Colossians 3:16).

The Word in you will make you what it talks about! Study and meditate on the Word consistently. Listen to messages again and again. Take it in; digest it, and let it become mingled with your spirit! Listen for what the Holy Spirit will tell you to encourage you, or to give you direction. There’s no problem that has no solution. Through the Scriptures, you receive light; God’s Word has the ability to bring illumination to your spirit and give you insight into reality.

Through the Word, you’ll find that there’s nothing you can’t do, and there’s nothing you can’t have! God’s Word is the true light (John 1:9) that reveals who you really are, and your inheritance in Christ; let that light guide you in all things.

PRAYER

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of your Word, which is in my heart and in my mouth. You’re the glory of my life; and today, I experience the power and influence of your Word in all I do. I’m refreshed and energized for the transcendent life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

"Be ye separate." - 2 Corinthians 6:17

The Christian, while in the world, is not to be of the world. He should be distinguished from it in the great object of his life. To him, "to live," should be "Christ." Whether he eats, or drinks, or whatever he does, he should do all to God's glory. You may lay up treasure; but lay it up in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, where thieves break not through nor steal. You may strive to be rich; but be it your ambition to be "rich in faith," and good works. You may have pleasure; but when you are merry, sing psalms and make melody in your hearts to the Lord. In your spirit, as well as in your aim, you should differ from the world. Waiting humbly before God, always conscious of his presence, delighting in communion with him, and seeking to know his will, you will prove that you are of heavenly race. And you should be separate from the world in your actions. If a thing be right, though you lose by it, it must be done; if it be wrong, though you would gain by it, you must scorn the sin for your Master's sake. You must have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. Walk worthy of your high calling and dignity. Remember, O Christian, that thou art a son of the King of kings. Therefore, keep thyself unspotted from the world. Soil not the fingers which are soon to sweep celestial strings; let not these eyes become the windows of lust which are soon to see the King in his beauty--let not those feet be defiled in miry places, which are soon to walk the golden streets--let not those hearts be filled with pride and bitterness which are ere long to be filled with heaven, and to overflow with ecstatic joy.

YOUR TONGUE IS THE RUDDER OF YOUR LIFE-SHIP

UNBELIEF IS ALWAYS THE PROBLEM

GOD DOESEN'T GIVE MUCH FAITH

HE GIVES THE MEASURE OF FAITH

YOU INCREASE YOUR MEASURE OF FAITH BY HEARING GOD'S WORD
YOU STRENGTHEN IT BY PUTTING IT TO WORK

IF YOU HAVE FAITH, TALK TO THE PROBLEM, DON'T TALK ABOUT IT
TALK TO YOUR BODY, NOT TO GOD, 

THIS IS NOT DEALING WITH PRAYER.

WHY SHOULD A CHRISTIAN GO THROUGH LIFE SUFFERING?

WHEN YOU ARE BORN AGAIN, YOU BECOME THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR SHIP
YOU CREATED TODAY MANY YEARS AGO
WHETHER YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE, TO BE SUCCESSFUL, TO HAVE A GOOD FAMILY ETC IS UP TO YOU

JESUS SAID... AND NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU.
WAS HE TELLING THE TRUTH OR HE WAS LYING?

MARK 9:17-50 (King James Version)

 17And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

 18And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

 19He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

 20And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

 22And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

 23Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

 24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

 25When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

 26And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

I AM PUTTING BIG MONEY INTO PARTNERSHIP WORK WORLDWIDE IN THE NAME OF JESUS

THIS KIND OF KINGDOM TALK HAS TO BE YOUR LIFESTYLE
DO NOT TALK NEGATIVE
DO NOT TALK FEARS
TALK POSITIVE, TALK POSSIBILITY

DO NOT BE CONSCIOUS OF THE EARTHLY
BE CONSCIOUS OF THE HEAVENLY

YOUR JOB IS NOT IN THE HANDS OF YOUR EMPLOYERS
GOD ONLY USED THEM TO TAKE YOU TO THE PLACE OF BLESSING OTHERS
YOU CARRY THE DIVINE PRESENCE OF THE BLESSED GOD
HE LIVES, WALKS, TALKS IN YOU
YOU ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS
